My first solo trip was to Colombus, Ohio over 5 years ago (gotta start somewhere) and I barely slept because I was so scared sleeping in an airbnb alone.
Fast forward...now I've stayed in a dozen hostels and even slept next to complete strangers on a sleeperbus to do the Ha Giang Loop. I know that isn't everyones cup of tea...but the point of solo travel is to get out of your comfort zone, and for me? It's to prove to myself I can do hard things and connect with people all over the world.
My goal is to help others feel comfortable and excited if they choose to embark on their own solo trips one day.
